Artisan 2.5 Temperature control failure
Quote from Larry on June 27, 2019, 3:43 pmA month or so ago I started having a problem with the temperature control. It started out with occasional temp drops of a few seconds duration and steadily worsened until last night when the temperature dropped completely.
I've checked incoming power and the wiring connections.Good power and tight connections at both ends. I also checked the connections under the top panel. All tight.
When I first installed the roaster, I checked the operation of the temperature control by rotating the knob one number at a time and verifying that the temperature would increase and then stabilize.
When I tested the temperature control today, the heating element did not start to produce heat until just past the number 5 heat setting.
Any ideas?
